Based on the theory of Yellow Emperor (Huang Di Nei Jing), Ye Tianshi established the etiology and pathology of Pi-dan as Spleen deficiency and heat. Ye Tianshi summarized the clinical syndrome changes of Pi-dan. Based on Buxu-Xieshi and Xin Kai Kujiang method, Ye Tianshi undertook the syndrome differentiation and treatment of Pi-dan, which enriched the diagnosis and treatment system of Pi-dan.
